During my time at the UPenn, my parents finally passed away and, being their only child, I inherited a ton of money from them. I used these newly acquired funds to set up a slew of technology development companies. Because of my newly acquired wealth and degree, no one thought twice about this, after all technology had become irreplaceable in our lives so it was a sound financial investment. Of course, all of my companies were positioned to able to make a quick transition into the telecommunications industry when the IGBI finally had to release its death grip on the internet.
I also hired the best team of hackers that I could find, which was difficult as almost all hackers were either working for the IGBI or were in prison for their antics. I tasked my team with finding a way to globally shut down IGBI censorship for as long as possible, with the goal to have about 30 or so minutes of uncensored internet. With such tight censorship practiced in place by the IGBI, I ran the risk of uploading the information to the internet, them quickly erasing it before it was ever seen, and then spending the rest of my life behind bars. However, my hope was that with this brief time of uncensored internet, I could upload the most telling of the documents that I had to every major website with the goal of hundreds of millions of people seeing it in those 30 precious minutes. Some would brush it off but my hope was that enough people would download the content, read it, and then start complaining to everyone they knew, spreading the news of this global corruption.
Finally, after years and years of waiting, in 2032, I made my move and dropped the bombshell that would change the world forever.
